Double Features

The movie Double Feature originated in the 1930’s when the screening would begin with a low-budget "B Movie" followed by a short intermission and then the high-budget main feature, the "A Movie".

By the early 1970’s most double-features had been discontinued as distributors fought to have their films considered the A Movie rather than the B Movie.

Double Features saw a revival in the early 2000’s with several cinemas around the world adopting them and having some fun with the films they selected.

You can expect to see Double Features at least once a month at King Street Cinema!

There are currently no films scheduled. Please check back soon.
