Written and directed by one of the greatest filmmakers of our age, Paul Thomas Anderson (MAGNOLIA, THE MASTER, PHANTOM THREAD), the delight that is LICORICE PIZZA tracks the treacherous and thrilling navigation of first love as Alana Kane and Gary Valentine grow up, run around and fall in love in the San Fernando Valley of 1973.  

The film won Best Film and Best Director for Anderson at the National Board Of Review, a strong precursor to Oscar nominations. Our Young Film Programmers have also selected PTA’s PUNCH-DRUNK LOVE as their film this month.
